Die Studienergebnisse wurden vom britischen National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) in die Leitlinie zur Betreuung von gesunden Frauen und ihren Kindern unter der Geburt eingearbeitet, die im Dezember 2014 in aktualisierter Form veröffentlicht wurde.
